MAGEON Steel Track Undercarriage System — 1 to 60 Tons for Drilling Rigs, Excavators, Crushers, Cranes and Special Machinery
MAGEON manufactures customised steel track undercarriage systems covering 1 to 60 tons, engineered for hydraulic drilling rigs, excavators, mobile crushers, piling machines, crawler cranes, loaders, bulldozers and special-purpose tracked machinery. Each chassis is built to order from the customer's drawings or technical specification: the mounting flange, bolt pattern, drive shaft height and hydraulic interface are surveyed one-to-one against the host machine, and the complete assembly — steel tracks, track links, track rollers, front idlers, drive sprockets, hydraulic motors, travel gearboxes, crossbeam and optional slewing bearing — is delivered as one verified unit rather than a kit of parts.
The chassis beam is fabricated from Q345B high-strength steel with the welded structure optimised for load capacity and torsional rigidity, and every system ships under ISO 9001:2015 certification with a material mill certificate, factory inspection report and video outgoing inspection. The minimum order quantity is one set, so a prototype or a first production run carries no batch penalty.
MAGEON (Jiangsu Maizhi Machinery Co., Ltd., Xuzhou, Jiangsu) has engineered crawler undercarriages since 2009 and exports to more than 60 markets. The company's design team works directly from customer drawings in DXF, DWG or PDF format, and its production floor covers the full machining scope for undercarriage components — from track rollers and sprockets to welded frames — so the load path is engineered and verified as a system rather than assembled from unverified parts.
Product series are complete across the tracked machinery spectrum: steel track undercarriages from 1 to 60 tons, rubber track undercarriages from 1 to 15 tons, hybrid steel-with-rubber-pad variants for 3 to 15 tons, and the matched spare parts — track rollers, top rollers, sprockets, idlers and track chains. This means an OEM can source the chassis, the wear parts and the reconditioning consumables from one supplier with one configuration record.
Complete assembly — one supplier, one verified load path
Every MAGEON steel track undercarriage ships as a complete assembly. The component scope is fixed and verified at the requirement assessment stage:
Component
Role in the system
Steel track (with grouser shoes)
Ground contact and traction; 5,000–8,000 working hour planning life
Track link
Connects track shoes and transmits traction
Track roller
Supports the track and transfers machine load
Front idler
Guides and tensions the track
Drive sprocket
Transfers drive torque into the track
Hydraulic motor / travel drive
Provides crawler movement (hydraulic, electric or mechanical)
Travel gearbox
Reduces speed and multiplies torque
Crossbeam (Q345B)
Connects the crawler assemblies to the upper equipment
Slewing bearing (optional)
Enables 360° rotation of the upper structure in confined sites
Side beam detail: track rollers, chain and the welded Q345B frame that carries the machine load.
Specification range
The chassis is customised to the machine, so dimensions are set per project rather than selected from a catalogue. The standard engineering envelope is:

Steel track undercarriage system (complete assembly)
Beyond the steel range, the same engineering approach covers the rubber track undercarriage family (1–15 tons, 0–2 km/h travelling speed for compact hydraulic-drive machines) and the hybrid steel track with bolt-on rubber pads (3–15 tons, 2–4 km/h, 2250×300×535 mm reference dimensions) for drilling rigs and mobile crushers that travel between paved and soft surfaces. A triangular rubber tracked undercarriage for sugarcane harvesters (5.5 tons, 1780×450×1161 mm) is an example of a special-configuration project delivered on the same custom process.
Drive end detail: travel gearbox, sprocket and chain — matched to the machine's hydraulic system parameters before manufacturing.
Custom mounting interfaces — engineered, not adapted
The mounting interface is treated as a designed component of the chassis. MAGEON customises the mounting flange, bolt pattern, drive shaft height and hydraulic interface to the customer's host structure, surveying the existing equipment one-to-one so the delivered chassis bolts on directly. For a retrofit onto a machine whose original supplier is no longer available, sample-based processing is supported: a measured sample of the existing chassis is an accepted alternative to a drawing set.
Any interface dimension that cannot be confirmed from customer data or physical measurement is flagged during the design stage and confirmed in writing before material is cut. This verification step is what makes the 20-day single-set lead time reliable, because a chassis that arrives mismatched costs far more than the days saved at enquiry.
Quality control and documentation
Production runs under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system with a complete inspection process covering material incoming, machining and final assembly. Each chassis ships with a material mill certificate for the Q345B beam steel, a factory inspection report, and video outgoing inspection before dispatch, so the assembled unit can be reviewed against the approved interface while it is still on the factory floor. A one-year or 1,000-hour warranty applies to the assembly as supplied.
Finished assemblies prepared for dispatch — standard packaging is a wooden pallet or wooden case with wrapping film.
Packaging and shipping
Standard packaging is a wooden pallet or wooden case with wrapping film. Mode of transportation is ocean shipping, air freight or land transport, with FOB available at Shanghai, Ningbo or Shenzhen. Standard lead time is approximately 20 days for one set and 30 days for two to three sets, with longer timelines negotiated for volume orders. Spare parts — track chains, track shoes, rollers, top rollers, sprockets and idlers — are supplied against the exact chassis configuration, so a reconditioning order is a parts order rather than a new chassis purchase.
Frequently asked questions
Are you a manufacturer or a trader?
MAGEON (Jiangsu Maizhi Machinery Co., Ltd.) is a manufacturer, producing customised crawler undercarriages and the matched wear parts in Xuzhou, Jiangsu since 2009. Production, machining, welding and final assembly are carried out in-house under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, and OEM/ODM custom service is standard on the full range.
Do you support OEM and ODM?
Yes. Drawing-based and sample-based processing are both supported. Customers provide undercarriage drawings in DXF, DWG or PDF format or a measured sample of the existing chassis, and MAGEON surveys the mounting interface one-to-one against the host structure, confirming the flange dimensions, bolt pattern, drive shaft height and hydraulic interface before manufacturing begins.
What is the price?
Price is by negotiation per project, because each chassis is customised to the machine's weight, interface, speed and duty. Send the machine weight and load distribution, the mounting interface dimensions, the required travelling speed, the ground and duty conditions, and the drive configuration, and MAGEON returns a configuration and price within one working day of a technical enquiry.
What is the MOQ and delivery time?
The minimum order quantity is one set. Standard production time is approximately 20 days for one set and 30 days for two to three sets, with longer timelines negotiated above three sets. Packaging is a wooden pallet or wooden case, FOB at Shanghai, Ningbo or Shenzhen, delivered by ocean shipping, air freight or land transport.
Can you supply the undercarriage with the hydraulic motor installed?
Yes. The drive configuration is specified per project — hydraulic, electric or mechanical — and the complete assembly including the hydraulic motor and travel gearbox can be delivered with the drive matched to your hydraulic system parameters. On some projects the customer supplies the travel motor, in which case MAGEON delivers the complete running gear and frame with the motor interface left to match; both arrangements are confirmed at the requirement assessment stage.
What tonnage range does the steel track undercarriage cover?
The steel track undercarriage range covers 1 to 60 tons with 200–500 mm track width and 1–4 km/h travelling speed. Within that envelope the dimensions, chain specification, slewing bearing option and drive package are customised to the machine — for example the integrated 360° slewing bearing rotary system is available across the same tonnage class for drilling rigs and cranes that rotate the upper structure in confined sites.
