What Interface Details Matter Most When Submitting Drawings for a Custom Undercarriage?

The most common cause of rework is not technical difficulty but interface definitions that were never closed out. Five interfaces must be confirmed item by item: the machine frame flange including bolt count, bore diameter and pitch circle, dowel location, hydraulic ports including port count, thread specification and pressure/return sides, the slewing bearing flange, and clearance to the frame and guards. Dimensioning only the flange diameter or reversing the hydraulic sides account for most field problems, so use the interface confirmation sheet we issue and have it countersigned.
